The Lord is Blessing

Where do we begin with so many blessings coming our way. In Banglum last Sunday, Marcus Malo asked the Lord to come into his heart. Then on Thursday during Religious Instruction classes, there were 13 saved in grade 5-6 boys class and 5 saved in grade 5-6 girls class! We are rejoicing in these precious ones coming to know the Lord. Today I will be going to Kilolo Baptist Church, and Martha and Karen Marvin will be going with me. We look forward to being with these dear people and seeing the Lord work in hearts and lives. Thank you for your continued prayers for us and the work here in PNG!

Prayers Answered for Francesca Aldan

On Sunday evening, Francesca and family arrived home from Port Moresby. All of her blood work and scans returned all clear for cancer. She went back to work at the mine’s office on Monday. She is in great spirits and praising The Lord. She wants to thank everyone for your many prayers for her and family.

Karen Marvin has Arrived!

A picture is worth a thousand words! Karen Marvin, our Team Missionary arrived in Lae on Saturday morning safe and sound. So many of you have prayed for this, and we rejoice in answered prayer. Our teachers and students of Wau Christian school are thrilled to see that God answered their prayers as well! After setting up banking, phone and Internet, we will head to Wau and the work set before us. We know God has great things ahead for us. Thanks for your faithfulness in praying for us here.

Update on Martha’s Dad

My dad’s treatment was changed after his PSA went to over 98! They gave him a series of radiation treatments to help relieve the pain and discomfort, as well as increasing certain medications. Last week his PSA had dropped to the 70’s and a new avenue of treatments have begun. Your continued prayers for him and family is greatly appreciated. For a man that finally retired at the age of 84, he finds it hard to not be driving his dump truck. But I just heard that he finally sold his truck after driving it for 35 years! The yard must seem empty, but the fight for life continues! Thanks for praying!

Answered Prayers!

We have been blessed with several answered prayers! Francesca Tomaing had her surgery and is healing nicely. All stitches have been removed and the area is dry with no signs if infection. When we talked, she was in good spirits and doing laundry! Her blood work came back with no signs of cancer. She will be having scans done on Thursday. This will determine if she is clear to return to Wau or undergo chemo treatments. She thanks everyone for the many prayers for her. Work permits and Visas were approved for Jim Blume and our new missionaries Karen Marvin and Kenny and Kalie Keck! Karen Marvin will be arriving in PNG on March 22! We are thankful to Pastor Holmes who walked the paperwork through the government offices in Port Moresby. He was another blessing to us missionaries! The Lord is so good and we rejoice in Him! Thanks for your continued prayers for us...

Prayer Needed

We are requesting special prayer for two people tonight. Francesca Tomaing underwent extensive surgery today for breast cancer. So far no word has come of how she did through and after surgery. Please uphold her and her family in prayer. Junior Campbell, Martha’s dad, will have full body scans today and Wednesday will see the oncologists for results. We are praying for healing, but we know God’s will will be best. Our every breath is in His hands and we will rejoice in Him alone! Thanks for praying with us!
