Karen Marvin has Arrived!
A picture is worth a thousand words! Karen Marvin, our Team Missionary arrived in Lae on Saturday morning safe and sound. So many of you have prayed for this, and we rejoice in answered prayer. Our teachers and students of Wau Christian school are thrilled to see that God answered their prayers as well! After setting up banking, phone and Internet, we will head to Wau and the work set before us. We know God has great things ahead for us. Thanks for your faithfulness in praying for us here.
Update on Martha’s Dad
My dad’s treatment was changed after his PSA went to over 98! They gave him a series of radiation treatments to help relieve the pain and discomfort, as well as increasing certain medications. Last week his PSA had dropped to the 70’s and a new avenue of treatments have begun. Your continued prayers for him and family is greatly appreciated. For a man that finally retired at the age of 84, he finds it hard to not be driving his dump truck. But I just heard that he finally sold his truck after driving it for 35 years! The yard must seem empty, but the fight for life continues! Thanks for praying!
Answered Prayers!
We have been blessed with several answered prayers! Francesca Tomaing had her surgery and is healing nicely. All stitches have been removed and the area is dry with no signs if infection. When we talked, she was in good spirits and doing laundry! Her blood work came back with no signs of cancer. She will be having scans done on Thursday. This will determine if she is clear to return to Wau or undergo chemo treatments. She thanks everyone for the many prayers for her. Work permits and Visas were approved for Jim Blume and our new missionaries Karen Marvin and Kenny and Kalie Keck! Karen Marvin will be arriving in PNG on March 22! We are thankful to Pastor Holmes who walked the paperwork through the government offices in Port Moresby. He was another blessing to us missionaries! The Lord is so good and we rejoice in Him! Thanks for your continued prayers for us...
